Bury hydrants have a 1-piece variable flow plunger, large cushion type seal not easily damaged. Positive shut-off even when foreign particles are present. Automatic drain feature. Plunger opens drain to prevent freezing. Closes at any flow to prevent wasting water. Tamper-proof lock can be locked in close position by inserting padlock or bolt thru hole in link. Cast-iron head and handle. Inlet: 3/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread. Casing: 1 In. galvanized steel pipe. 7/16 In. galvanized pump rod. Silicon bronze bypass valve. Stainless steel extension rod. 3/4 In. aluminum hose adapter. Overall length of hydrant is bury depth plus 24 In. Polyester powder-coated finish. Individually boxed. Made in USA. For use in California.
